John Dee is on his way to Paris and when he gets there he and Machiavelli will unleash unimaginable forces on the city.
And while Sophie's awakened powers continue to grow as she learns fire magic, Josh gets ever more jealous of his sister's abilities. And he still hasn't made up his mind about whom to trust; Flamel or Dee?
This is a very imaginative series of books, well researched and very well written. I hope the wait for the third and final book won't be too long.
