Pages: 361
Date: 25/09/2007
Grade: 4.5
Details: nr. 2 Dandy Gilver Mystery
Library

This was the 13th read in this month's Cozy Mystery Challenge.
Dandy Gilver is spending time with friends in Queensferry, Scotland. It is August 1923, and the annual Ferry Fair is on, which traditionally involves the walk of the Burry Man.
But the day before the Fair, the man who has been the Burry Man for years, announces that the can't do it this year, only to change his mind after a talk with Dandy.
On the day, the Burry Man does his traditional round, only to die shortly afterwards. it's up to Dandy to discover whether his death was an accident or murder.
This was a good mystery with a for more involved solution than I could guess at.
Dandy is an interesting main character, and I will go back to read the first book in this series, and then read onwards.
